Collection of objects and home dècor

2009/2022 – Ravissant: silver tableware and home décor collections

My successful collaboration with Ravissant, the leading Indian silverware brand, has generated numerous complete collections, totaling to above a thousand items. Added to this serial production are a series of exclusive collections, made for major events such as VIP weddings, celebrations, anniversaries, corporate gifts.

Designing objects in silver and semi-precious stones, was a magical and extraordinary experience, something that can only happen in India, because of the extraordinary demand of silver objects for daily use in high-class families and in the top hotel industry. Not just tea sets, but also plates, pots, glasses, chandeliers and much more, made of sterling silver, to be donated as gifts or to be used on elegant tables.

That’s how I deepened my knowledge of the Indian market: such exclusive contacts allowed me to understand the desires, needs and taste of today’s India, hanging in the balance between modernity and tradition. It was a very challenging and extraordinary experience that enriched my creativity and brought me closer to a millenary culture.

2018/19 – Standard production steel kitchens and objects for residential decoration, India

Modular kitchens

Stainless steel modular kitchens for Arttdinox, the brand of the Jindal Group in which steel takes on an artistic vocation. The group has an established leadership in the production of steel and steel derivatives on the Asian continent.

Morgana Kitchen

The kitchen concepts I designed for Arttdinox are the outcome of a long research aimed at creating steel products that are perceived as elegant objects for home furnishing. By transforming the material, originally cool and rigid, through colouring, coupling, perforated embroidery and laser texturing, I changed the perception of steel into what I called ‘steel velvet’.

Hydrangeas Kitchen

The special processes used for finishing, from electrocolouring to laser perforation, give the material a warmth and modernity that clearly separates it from the technical and rather algid uses to which stainless steel is traditionally confined. The various models are enriched with movements, mechanisms and servo-automatics that on the one hand make the product versatile and innovative, and on the other facilitate its inclusion even in those spaces not strictly intended for food preparation.

Garden Kitchen

Standing out among these units is the “Cucina Giardino” (garden kitchen), which was conceived as a mobile kitchen, as the presence of wheels allows it to be moved and used outdoors. It is a sophisticated element suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces, made entirely of steel and fitted with a special SICIS “Vetrite” top designed for outdoor parties. This kitchen is equipped with an autonomous plug-in electrical system, ice-maker, refrigerator, hob, sink, waste collector. The “Vetrite” top slides on guides equipped with bearings and safety locks: it transforms into a perfect cocktail top when needed. The large daisies that decorate the surface of this kitchen are best appreciated at night when they become luminous.

2019 – Steel Velvet

Line of objects and home décor accessories in treated stainless steel, designed for Arttdinox. This collection fills a gap in the market, offering a wide range of elegant, carefully crafted and highly versatile objects. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, they are the ideal solution for furnishing large size spaces with benches, mirrors, console tables, seats, large vases with optional lighting, casegoods and floor and suspension lamps.

2018 – Art Nouveau

Also designed for Arttdinox, this collection anticipates some of the themes fully developed with the Steel Velvet line. The main decorative element, the aesthetic liaison, is the luminous fretwork, skilfully used to create striking visual effects. The highly resistant material allows very thin thicknesses to be worked, which, thanks to the perforations, give the objects an appearance of graceful elegance and decoration, reminiscent of French Art Nouveau.  All objects are made of stainless steel in the colours gold, steel, bronze and rose gold.

2014 – VG New Trend: Seating and furniture accessories

Flower Power

This collection for VG New Trend started out as ‘Flower Power’ because it is inspired by the 1970s fashions and the unprejudiced use of colour of the time, often recalling the theme of nature in connection with the freedom desire. I thought these themes went well with the vocation of the brand that has become famous for its innovative floral decorations, exported worldwide.

This collection was highly praised by the prestigious trend magazine “How to spend it” (a periodical of “Il Sole24Ore”), which dedicated the cover of its December 2014 issue.

Venetian Heart

This bed designed for VG New Trend is an ironic tribute to what Venice represents to the international consumer. The large headboard that can be customized with a wide range of covers symbolizes the indissoluble bond that binds the lagoon city to those who have visited it and, inevitably, remain bewitched by it. The king-size version of this model offers a variant with a headboard characterized by two romantic hearts: a heart of soft red velvet and a heart of mirror that cross each other as in an unpredictable appointment with destiny.

2010/11 – MM Lampadari: Collection of floor lamps and ceiling pendants

The light vases are an explicit reference to the ‘Rosa’ lamp (one of my most successful products), as well as to ‘Rosellina’ its wall version, both designed in 2009. The structure of this lamp series is made of metal with a gold-leaf, copper, bronze or silver leaf finish.

The craftsmanship quality of these lamps is extraordinary. I have used these products in projects, fittings and furnishings in practically every part of the world and in all kinds of climate conditions, without any problems.
